Meet Tyler King, U.S. Navy Chief and owner
Bug King is owned and operated by Tyler King, a U.S. Navy Chief with 20 years of service and more than six years in pest control. He founded Bug King in New Braunfels in 2024 so Comal County families could get honest, personal pest control from the person who answers the phone.
The story
From the Navy to your front door
Tyler served 20 years in the U.S. Navy and earned the title every sailor knows carries weight: Chief. Chiefs are the people who make sure the job gets done, the right way, every time.
He started his pest control career at a small, family-owned company. The more he learned, the more he realized how much he enjoyed providing a service that genuinely helps people. Six years later, he started his own company.
“I look forward to each and every challenge that arises,” Tyler says. Whether it's a scorpion in a child's room or termites in a family's first home, he treats it like it's his own house.
